She is a member of the Guild of Master Groomers which is a lengthy qualification to an extremely high standard, a qualification held by only 28 groomer in the UK. She is also an examiner for City & Guilds practical exams.

Dee is extremely passionate about the industry and is heavily involved within the industry and is regularly invited to talk and demonstrate her skills at seminars and events.

Dee is a national and international award winning dog groomer and has won many placements with a variety of breeds.
Always an animal lover, my grooming career started in 2002, a job that would add additional funds to my family’s income and a job that I could work around my young children and groom our family dogs which was an added bonus.

What started as a hobby has ended up taking over my life, it is a passion and a job that I love dearly.

Cheryl Howard

I have been grooming for 20 years since the age of 17, after leaving college. I soon realised dog grooming was the career for me, I was offered a job as a trainee and spent the following 8 years with the same salon.

In 2005, aged 25, I decided to open my own salon in South West London, which is now a successful and busy salon.

I have 2 young children and an amazing husband who are my biggest fans, they love to see me succeed and this drives me to work hard and aim high.

In 2014 I decided I would enter the Competition world and took along my young Kerry and placed 2nd in open Pure Breed, from then on I was addicted and tried to compete as often as possible in the UK and Europe.

I have also won places in Poodle and Hand Strip Terrier classes.

To date my biggest wins in the UK and Europe have been:
BIS Premier Groom 2015 – UK
RBIS Cymru Groom 2016 – WALES
BIS GroomArts 2017 – BELGIUM
RBIS Premier Groom – 2017 UK
BIS Cymru Groom – 2017 WALES
