The points table will run from January 2023 to December 2024 to form the team for 2025/2026.
To be eligible for points a groomer must be English or reside permanently in England during the qualification period.
Points will be awarded from all UK shows with Champion classes in the categories Hand Strip, Poodle, Pure Breed Scissor and Spaniel & Setter. Points will only be awarded if there are a minimum of 3 competitors in the specific category on the day.
Show organisers should complete the report form at the bottom of this page and return to groomteamengland@gmail.com within two weeks of the competition date.

Points will also be awarded from non UK shows that are run under EGA rules. It is the competitors responsibility to ask the show organiser to complete the report form at the bottom of this page and return it to groomteamengland@gmail.com within two weeks of the competition date. Only the category you have placed in needs to be completed. If forms are not received within this time the points will not be awarded.

UK shows that do not host a Champion class will have the opportunity for their Best in Show winner to score a point if the breed and technique used meets requirements.
