The points table will run from January 2025 to December 2026 to form the team for 2027/2028.

To be eligible for points a groomer must be English or reside permanently in England during the qualification period.

Points will only be awarded from the GTE accredited  point awarding UK shows  (please see events page for the listed shows)

Points will only be awarded if there are a minimum of 3 competitors in the specific champion category on the day. If there are less than 3 competitors, points will not be awarded for that individual class, however if the winner of that class goes onto Best in Show they will be awarded the Best in Show points.  Points will still be awarded for other classes.

GTE and show organisers cannot be held responsible for absentees affecting minimum required class number and point allocation.

Show organisers should complete the report form on the drop down tab on this page within 15 days of the competition date. If forms are not received within this time the points will not be awarded.

Points will also be awarded from all non UK shows that are run under EGA rules (www.europeangroomingassociation.eu) . It is the competitors responsibility to complete the report form on the drop down tab on this page within 15 days of the competition date.  If forms are not received within this time the points will not be awarded.
